Lower Colorado River Spill-Response Applications

Spill-response planning involved procedures, contacts, maps, and other information held in substantial printed binders. The application project brought that material into digital interfaces for operators and other people involved in response work.

Jeremy served as project manager and senior engineer through a consulting engagement with Olsson Associates. His work included application planning and coordination across the client, developers, regulators, operators, and safety teams.

The suite combined Android, iOS, and HTML5 applications with a database and website. The records describe interface wireframes, presentations, project scoping, and coordination of technical and operational requirements.

The case demonstrates business application work that begins with the information people need and the circumstances in which they use it. It does not suggest that the original application is currently available, and it does not replace official emergency guidance.
